Jr Lifeguard Program

The Virginia Beach Lifeguard Association Junior Lifeguard Program offers youth an opportunity to learn from professional lifeguards. Students gain a wide variety of skills and knowledge including how to enjoy beach activities, first aid, area familiarity, CPR, rescue techniques, physical fitness, and marine safety operations. This valuable experience builds self confidence and helps students prepare for future employment as Beach Lifeguards.

Dates and Times:

• Session One: June 16 - 20, 2008
• Session Two: June 23 - 27, 2008
• The program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30AM until 2:30PM.
